New leak concerning Google’s smartphones supposed to arrive next week, Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL got around all over the internet as an Android Police source saw the Google Pixel 3a XL in a box, at Best Guy. The phone was apparently in ‘Purple-ish’ and ‘Just Black’ color versions, just like in an apparent official render of the devices, posted not long ago by Droid Life.
The phone box spotted at Best Guy has in-scripted details that were previously thought to be rumors, specifications such as the phone’s 6-inch display and its storage of 64GB.
What seems more curious is the fact that Google might release the devices (Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL) sooner than initially thought.
Until now, the rumors going around the internet implied that the devices will be launched at the Google I/O conference on May the 7th, and the now speculations are birthing around the idea that the smartphones might be released by Google on May 7th at the I/O conference, as the Best Guy store stocks seems already packed up with boxes of Pixel 3a XLs. Well, either on May 7th, or later that week.
Even though the spotted box had only referred to Canadian information, the AP’s comment section apparently says that the Pixel 3s box has very much alike details and specifications.
However, prices and other specifications have not made it to the public eye yet, but rumors are going around regarding the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL prices.
Another leak that made the rounds on the internet was released by YouTube Channel This is Tech Today, revealing images of the device’s retail packaging which mentioned their prices for the United States.
The price for Pixel 3a is apparently said to be $399 and the Pixel 3a XL’s price tag would be $479. This would mean that Pixel 3a would hit the market at half the regular Pixel 3’s price of $799, and the 3 XL would come with a slightly higher price than the Pixel 3 XI which is $899.
Of course, Google hasn’t made any announcements yet so we’ll just wait and see.
The Pixel 3a and 3a XL will be the first medium size Pixel devices to be launched.
