Halo Infinite is the sixth title of the Halo series developed by 343 Industries and it was revealed during the E3 2018. In the opinion of 343 Industries, Halo Infinite will most likely be some sort of “spiritual reboot” for the franchise. Bonnie Ross, who is the head of the company, has recently talked about the development of the game in an interview taken by IGN. Let’s take a look at what we’ve found out.
The next title of the Halo series is going to be great
According to Ross, 343 Industries had some significant learning moments with the REQ packs and free maps in Halo 5, the multiplayer mode in Halo 4, as well as with Halo: The Master Chief Collection. It seems that that the developer has considered these great moments while creating the next title of the Halo franchise.
The team is using the experience it has gathered over the years with the previous titles in order to make sure they develop a great new game. In the recent interview, Ross has also mentioned that the studio is calling Halo Infinite (Halo 6) a “spiritual reboot”, so we definitely cannot wait to see how the next game will be like.
The team’s introspection has played a key role in the development of Halo Infinite
Another thing that Ross said was that the studio had quite a few moments of introspection in order to see what they’ve accomplished so far, “Where have we made mistakes? Where have we hit it right? What does Halo mean to all of us?”.
The developer also added that Halo is “about hope, and wonder, and heroism, and humanity, and community, and bringing a community together”. We are very curious about how the next title of the franchise will be like, so we cannot wait for it to be released, probably sometime in the autumn of the current year.
