iOS 12.1.4 Update Comes with New Bug Fixes

There is an issue going on with the FaceTime group calling feature. People using Apple devices trying to make conference FaceTime are dealing with overhearing. However, Apple knows about the existence of this problem, and they are trying to figure out a way to fix it. The next update should be the solution to this bug, the iOS 12.1.4.

It could happen anytime soon

The 12.1.4 update from Apple should be available for download as soon as the end of this week. However, the company has not officially addressed this issue yet, so some sections are experiencing a little bit of anxiety. This issue affects the users’ privacy as the recipient of the call can listen to what people say in the conference without answering the call. Apple, however, suspended the feature, so no awkwardness happens until it is fixed.

You should not forget that such issues are never left unaddressed by companies especially when it is a safety matter. The team must have already heard about this by now which means that a solution is being worked on and that you do not need to worry. Fans will get back their ability to make FaceTime group calls.

When this new FaceTime bug got reported the team at Apple was already working on the iOS 12.1.4 update. With that being said, it means that this issue will not be left untreated. However, the time we need to wait to receive this update is still unknown.

You might need to wait a few more days if you want to continue using the FaceTime group calling feature on your iOS device, but as soon as Apple is ready to offer their next iOS update, they will do so.  Until then, you can still make a conference call.
