The Second Samsung Galaxy Watch Is Expected to Launch Next Month

Only a few months ago, Samsung released the Samsung Galaxy Watch. Now, its successor is expected to be unveiled soon, as the South Korean company is preparing to launch a new smartwatch.

A new smartwatch will be launched by Samsung

The new watch has been codenamed “Pulse” and is expected to launch under the name Samsung Galaxy Sport. Thanks to some new leaked images from @OnLeaks, who is quite a reliable leaker, we can get an idea about how the new device will look like. The new device will be probably called Samsung Galaxy Sport and it is meant to replace the Samsung Gear Sport, which was launched in 2017.

According to the leaker’s Twitter post, the renders are “based upon factory data” and they show the smartwatch from all angles. This is quite a new design that we didn’t really see before from Samsung.

What to expect from Samsung Galaxy Sport

Based on the post that was made by @OnLeaks, the new watch will come in Black, Gold, Silver, Pink and Green color options. Also, the fact that the device was codenamed “Pulse” seems to correspond to the theory that says the watch will probably replace the Samsung Gear Sport.

When it comes to the design, according to what we can see in the pictures, it looks like the renders do not show any bezel. This comes as a surprise, since it’s different than what we’ve had before on the previous Samsung smartwatches. The company’s watches from the past were different than those developed by the competition because they had a very useful rotating bezel. Thanks to that, Tizen OS was easier to navigate. However, we don’t know yet if this is exactly how the new watch from Samsung will look like. The Galaxy Sport is believed to be unveiled at the Samsung Unpacked press event, which could take place on February 20.
