The end of 2018 is very close and everybody is checking the completed points from their bucket list and adding new ones. The holidays should be a time of peace and quiet spent with the family, but some restless people have their schedules packed for the following weeks.
And no! They are not planning to rest. They are planning to take part in one of the most important events from this end of the year. We are talking about Pokemon Go Holidays 2018, a big update that started on the 18th of December and it will last until the 2nd of January 2019!
The event is also known as Winter Wonders and it comes with exciting news. From new characters, updated combating styles to more effective Incubators, the Pokemon Go Holidays 2018 has it all.
Here is what you can find throughout the two-week event
In order to give players the chance to get the most out of the Winter Wonders, the Pokemon Go Holidays has been structured into short themed periods. Thus, each player category can find what he/she is looking for.
- The 18-22 December is dedicated to trainers. They will have the possibility to enjoy a double ratio of Candy when they catch and transfer Pokemons;
- December 22 to 26 is the period when gamers can double their Catch Stardust capacity for powering their Pokemon up;
- Between 26-30 December gamers can double their XP for catching Pokemons and this helps them get to a more advanced Trainer level before we step into 2019;
- Last, but not least, Incubators double their effectiveness during December 30th and January 2nd.
Apart from these bonuses, Pokemon Go players will be happy to discover the improvements brought by the 2018 Holiday update. Gamers will notice that the PvP Battle has been updated, they will hear some news about a new Lugia Raid and will be happy to meet and catch Gen 4 characters.
