This exciting report comes from Redmond Pie, from where we find out about a powerful iOS/macOS Safari sandbox escape that was recently published, and which seems to affect iOS 12.0 through iOS 12.1. Due to this recent activity, users have started being extremely hopeful that the iOS 12 jailbreak is finally going forward.

The jailbreak community is eagerly waiting for something to happen and some Twitter users actually begged @SorryMyBad to help the whole community, since there have been so many unsuccessful previous attempts from several popular security researchers and developers.

What to expect for now
The speculation of many users was that this activity is connected to the Pangu Team IOHID vulnerability, which was released before and is expected to lead in the end to an iOS 12.0 to iOS 12.1 jailbreak pretty soon.
