The blessing of Google’s Android One meant that owners of Nokia devices can rest assured that they’ll receive at least two major Android operating system updates from the time of purchasing their phones.
Even better is that HMD Global isn’t entirely focused on limiting the two-year Android OS update policy to its Android One portfolio. With respect to the Nokia Android 10 update, devices not featured in the program are also receiving their second OS upgrade.
To be more specific, the entry-level Nokia 1 and Nokia 2.1 that launched with a non-Android One version of Android Oreo are set to receive Android 10 this Q2 2020.

Of the 20 Nokia handsets that are eligible for Android 10, only five remain unattended to. The Nokia 5.1 Plus should get the OS pretty soon after the company addresses a nagging WiFi issue. As for the other four, the update arrives this Q2 2020.
We will update this article when Android 10 starts rolling out to the remaining five handsets.
