Google announced that the first beta preview of its new Android Q operating system update is going to release via Project Treble during the upcoming days. However, Google is in no rush because there are still many tech manufacturers who have yet to roll out Android 9.0 Pie to their latest smartphones. HTC is the perfect example of this because this tech giant promised to release Android 9.0 Pie to its latest smartphone back in August 2018 and only H11 Life has received the update.
HTC Announces Update Plan
HTC is feeling the pressure now that Google is getting ready to release the first beta preview of Android Q and it announced that U11, U11+ and U12+ are going to receive the highly anticipated Android 9.0 Pie operating system update in Q2 2019. The newer smartphones are going to be first in line to receive the update and thus, the update is first going to be rolled out to U12+, then to U11+ and lastly to U11.
