In typical Google fashion, the new update is currently available only in the form of APK which means that all interested Android users will need to manually download and install the new update on their smartphones.
However, Google is also going to release the update through OTA (over the air) channels to everyone who has yet to manually download and install the update. On the downside of things, we don’t know how much time it’s going to take before Google does decide to release the update OTA.
