iOS 11.4.1 Jailbreak (Standalone Tool) is Coming Soon

Apple has been doing everything in its power during this past couple of years to improve the security of its iOS operating system so that it can’t be jailbroken anymore. Despite Apple’s wish to shut down the jailbreak community, renowned developers such as Tihmstar are still tirelessly working on finding kernel exploits that can help them crack Apple’s operating system. In fact, the reason why Tihmstar is making headlines today is because he recently made a post on Twitter where he said that an iOS 11.4.1 jailbreak is coming.

iOS 11.4.1 Jailbreak is Coming

There are lots of iPhone fans who are hoping for an iOS 11.4.1 jailbreak tool to arrive and from the looks of it, Tihmstar might be their only hope. “I finished the exploit enough to be useful for my purpose, which is porting the KPP bypass to iOS 11 (.2.6 and up). However, I unfortunately can’t release the exploit standalone (as planned originally) just yet, since that would interfere with other people’s projects” said Tihmstar in his Twitter post.

The Project is in Development

As Tihmstar himself said it, the jailbreak developer still needs a little bit of more time before he can finally release the standalone version of it. On the bright side of things, the jailbreak developer did manage to find a kernel exploit that helped him sneak past Apple’s security and this means that the iOS 11.4.1 jailbreak tool is eventually going to arrive.

The highly anticipated iOS 11.4.1 jailbreak tool is going arrive and there is no doubt about this. What we don’t know is when. Although this was to be expected since the process of jailbreaking an iPhone has been a highly controversial thing and considering that Apple is doing everything in its power to patch all exploits, the jailbreak developers need to be careful about their standalone releases.
