Samsung Galaxy S10 Is Set to Be Launched on February 20

There is some good news for numerous fans of Samsung’s popular S series from all around the world, as the next gen flagship smartphone, Samsung Galaxy S10 will be unveiled one week earlier than we all expected. Another change is the venue, as Barcelona will be replaced with San Francisco.

The launch will take place on February 20th

The launch event of Samsung Galaxy S10 will take place on Wednesday, February 20th. Although the name of the event, Galaxy Unpacked 2019, does not specify the highly anticipated flagship device, and its details are not included anywhere on the event’s invite, the South Korean company noted that “this year marks the 10-year anniversary of the Galaxy series”.

When it comes to the venue, Samsung chose the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, where the company’s greatest competitor, Apple, launched many of their devices. The event is scheduled to start at 11am PT (2pm ET or 7pm GMT).

Samsung might present three Galaxy S10 models

According to most rumors, Samsung will unveil three different versions of its flagship smartphone: Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10 Plus and Galaxy S10 Lite (S10 E). The first is expected to have a 6.1-inch screen and a 3,500mAh battery, S10 Plus will have a 6.4-inch screen and a 4,000mAh battery and S10 Lite will have a 5.8-inch screen and a 3,000mAh battery.

What we might see on Galaxy S10

Compared to its predecessor, Samsung Galaxy S10 will definitely be more innovative. Its revolutionary design, a “hole-punch display” will allow the South Korean company to significantly reduce bezels at the top and hide a front-facing camera inside of it. Other features that we might see on Galaxy S10 are: an in-screen fingerprint sensor, a triple back camera and the 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset.
