These days, the Nokia fans community received big news, but not all the people who own smartphones developed by this company were happy. In fact, a big part of them were disappointed.
According to some tweets posted by Juho Sarvikas, Nokia 5.1 Plus owners who use systems with Android Oreo now have the chance to update their OS. Even if they cannot try to see how Android 9 Pie works yet, these people can install the newest version of Oreo. The update can be found under the name V1.14A and you’ll need at least 250 MB to install it.
What’s in the Android Oreo V1.14A update and how can Nokia users get it
If you’re wondering what its improvements are, we will mention that it comes with UI enhancements, better stability for the system and the latest Google Security patch which was released in November. So far, only the Indians can enjoy this improvement, but it will be available all over the world in a few days.
On the other hand, not all Nokia users were happy these days. People who have Nokia 8 devices don’t have the possibility to get the Android 9 Pie update these days. Although the improvement should have come in November, developers had to postpone its launch.
Other tweets shared by the same Juho Sarvikas mention the reason why fans don’t have the possibility to try the long-awaited ”Pie” just yet. It looks like developers found some issues which needed fixing before the software could be release. This means that Nokia 8 owners will have to wait a little longer until the Pie is released.
If you are one of those anxious users who cannot wait to see how the update works, you could try the beta version that has been spotted on HMD servers, but this variant is not as stable as it should be in order to reflect all the changes. It’s better to wait for the final version if you want a realistic opinion.
