Pokemon Go Sinnoh Stone: It’s Not A Guaranteed Reward In Research Breakthroughs Anymore

Research Breakthroughs: apparently we’re not going to get the Pokemon Go‘s Sinnoh Stone as a reward. This thing was confirmed by The Silph Road Twitter account. The Sinnoh Stones, which allow you to evolve some kinds of Pokemon are going to be randomly rewarded in Research Breakthroughs just like any other reward. They also said that there might be other ways to get them in the future, but for now, it’s all we have.

Were they removed entirely from the Research Breakthrough?

They believed that Sinnoh Stones were removed from the Research Breakthroughs entirely. However, yesterday, a user called ZenonCrow stated on the Silph Road Subreddit that there are three people in their group that are not awarded with the Sinnoh Stone when they opened their Research Breakthrough. They also offered screenshots as pieces of evidence. Many people started to complain and the official Twitter account eventually released a statement saying that they were not awarded at that specific moment.

What are Research Breakthroughs?

Research Breakthroughs are those rewards that players get after completing seven different Field Research tasks every seven days. Players get items, XP, and a chance to catch the Pokemon chose for that month. For November, they’ve chosen Shedinja.

How many Pokemon are there?

There are 11 Pokemon that can evolve by using the Sinnoh Stone (according to some users on The Silph Road Subreddit).

All of this comes after the end of the event that took place in the game, which was meant to celebrate the release of Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu/Eevee!. This event included new Field Research tasks, new Raid Bosses, new Special Research quests and new cosmetic items, that appeared in the stop of the game – and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
