Apple Is Set to Announce iPad Pro with USB-C, a New MacBook Air and Mac Mini During Its Event on 30th October

According to a recent report by Bloomberg, Apple is likely to announce its three new devices during the event that will take place on 30th October in New York. It is definitely going to be an exciting day for all fans of the company’s products, as we should get more details about the next iPad Pro that will be equipped with USB-C ports, a new 13-inch laptop that will replace the MacBook Air and a highly anticipated Mac Mini.

USB-C port will make its first appearance on iPad Pro

The report states that the next iPad Pro will be redesigned, as it will have an almost edge-to-edge display, a Face ID feature and a universal USB-C port. The last addition is especially important, as it means that Apple decided to replace its Lightning port with the more and more common USB-C standard. Moreover, the new iPad Pro will be equipped with a graphics chip made by the company itself, while the home button will be removed completely.

A successor of MacBook Air

Not much is known about the next MacBook, other than the fact that it will have a high resolution 13-inch screen. The question is, will this be a completely new laptop, a version with some updated parts or a slightly different model of the MacBook Air? We should have the answer in just few more days.

Mac Mini will be finally updated

For the first time since 2014, the fans of Mac Mini will have a reason to be happy, as this device will finally get some spec updates. According to Bloomberg, this PC will receive new processors and other additions that were created for pro users.

When it comes to other devices, Apple is currently working on updated 12-inch MacBook, iMacs and iMac Pro, but we do not know whether these will be presented during the event or not.
