Xiaomi’s new skin on top of Android, MIUI 12 has made waves since it was teased by the company a couple or so weeks ago. The stable version is rolling out to eligible devices and today, Redmi K30 Pro Zoom is getting MIUI 12.

According to Xiaomi’s earlier-shared roadmap to MIUI 12, the majority of the company’s devices that were eligible for an update to MIUI 12 are slated to get the update sometime in the second round of rollouts.

Global MIUI 12 update roadmap

True to the company’s word, we have seen a number of Xiaomi devices bagging the much-awaited update to MIUI 12, complete with all its new redesigns, futuristic wallpapers, and system enhancements.

Today, users of the Xiaomi Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition were pleasantly surprised when they woke up to the update to MIUI 12 for their devices.

This rollout is for the China variant of the device to begin with, although we would expect the update to hit the Global and International variants of the same pretty soon.

Also worth noting is that according to the user who reported the update, this might be a Stable internal test build of MIUI 12. However, the fact that it is already stable means that it won’t be too long before it is officially rolled out to the public.

With this update, the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition joins the growing list of Xiaomi devices that have been updated to MIUI 12. Currently, the list consists of devices like’

– Mi 10 and 10 Pro
– Mi 10 Lite
– Redmi K20 Pro/Mi 9T Pro
– Mi 9 Pro 5G and – Mi 9
– Mi 9T- Redmi K20

In the coming days and weeks, we’re bound to see more and more Xiaomi devices joining this list as MIUI 12 is in the testing phase and Beta recruitment for even more devices.
