[Update: July 11] Realme Android 11 (Realme UI 2.0) update: List of eligible devices

This story is being continuously updated…. New updates are being added at the bottom…..

Original story (published on March 23) follows:

OPPO subsidiary Realme sprung to life back in May 2018 with the Realme 1. The device has since been followed by more than 25 other handsets (including variations of some models), with the latest arriving as Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro.

For the keen followers, you probably are aware that Realme is committed to serving most of its devices with at least two OS upgrades and regular security updates.

Matter of fact, those using any device in the X series can rest assured that they will receive two OS upgrades on their unit, at least going by what CMO of Realme India said earlier this year.

So far, the only Realme devices that are unsure about the Realme UI 1.0 update based on Android 10 are the Realme 1, Realme 2, Realme C1 (2018 and 2019), and Realme U1, probably because the available timeline is for the first wave.

With the above information in mind, we can have a wild guess at the devices that Realme will be eager to upgrade to the upcoming Realme UI 2.0 update based on Android 11. For the uninitiated, Google is already testing the new OS, currently at Developer Preview 2.

Yeah, you read that right! The information that follows below isn’t official from Realme but based on our experience covering Realme updates since the brand launched. Granted, things may change at some point in the future and we will be here to make the updates to this article accordingly.

Without further ado, let’s take a look at the eligible devices set to receive the Realme UI 2.0 update.

Realme UI 2.0 update: Eligible devices

As already pointed out, Realme rolls out at least two OS upgrades to its devices. With this in mind, we have come up with a list of Realme handsets we believe will receive the new Android 11 update. You can keep track of the rollout here.

The criterion is quite easy. It’s either your Realme handset is in line for its first major OS upgrade or the second (and last) update. That is, if your device came pre-installed with Android Pie, you stand a chance to receive Android 11.

This group has the following devices:
– Realme X2 Pro
– Realme X2
– Realme XT
– Realme X
– Realme 5
– Realme 5 Pro (Realme Q)
– Realme 5i
– Realme 5s
– Realme 3 Pro (Realme X Youth Edition)
– Realme 3

The story is also true for those that come preinstalled with Android 10, making the Realme UI 2.0 update their first OS upgrade. This group has the following devices (more expected later this year):

– Realme 6
– Realme 6 Pro
– Realme 6i
– Realme 6S
– Realme X50 5G
– Realme X50m 5G
– Realme X50 Pro 5G

– Realme C3
– Realme C11
– Realme C3i
– Realme Narzo
– Realme Narzo 10
– Realme Narzo 10A
– Realme X3
– Realme X3 Super Zoom

Others that are eligible for the Realme UI 2.0 update (by virtue of a second OS upgrade) but may miss out include the Realme C2, Realme C2 (2020), and Realme C2s. But as noted at the beginning, this isn’t the final Realme Android 11 update roadmap, so expect changes at some point.

Also, we don’t have an expected timeline, but looking at what went down with the ongoing Realme UI 1.0 update, it’s safe to assume the first Realme UI 2.0 stable update may arrive late this year or early 2021.
