Because the huge worldwide launch of Android 10 Q will soon happen, smartphone manufacturers are rolling out last year’s Android 9 Pie OS to the rest of their compatible devices.
Samsung, the giant Korean smartphone producer, which is also the globe’s biggest device manufacturer, has released a revamp for their previous TouchWiz user interface.
Together with Android 9.0 Pie, it is now dubbed Samsung’s One UI. Samsung owners are as highly excited for the customized interface as much as other people are excited about the Android 9 Pie update.
Samsung first announced its One UI with their Galaxy S10 lineup. The company has now started to roll out its newest One UI, together with the Android 9 Pie to many of their devices. Talking about tablets, the LTE versions of Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 of 2018 has just got its first significant Android OS update which brings One UI and Android 9 Pie to the device
Galaxy Tab 10.5 is a mid-range tablet, sporting Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 450 processor, and it features a 10.5-inch LCD, an 8MP primary camera and a 5MP secondary camera. The device was originally launched with Android 8.1 Oreo.
The Wi-Fi version of the tablet will get the Android 9 Pie together with One UI update, which has a size of over 1GB and features the June security patch.
After updating the tablet, an excellent cosmetic and performance will enhance the user experience. Owners will be able to use emojis on the Samsung keyboard now, and the keyboard will get a new adaptive theme, which will adjust the color depending on the theme implemented on the device. The update will also support floating keyboard in many applications.
We should note that this is a phased release, so the update might take a while until it arrives to every user.
