And, as revealed by Epic Games via the patch’s release notes, Fortnite 9.30 update is indeed a significant one as it brings vaulted weapons, new content, bug fixes, performance improvements, gameplay tweaks, and more.
Fortnite Battle Royale is the most popular Battle Royale title at the moment on PC and gaming consoles, while on mobile devices PUBG Mobile outperforms Fortnite. But that’s not an issue for Epic Game, for the time being, and the company keeps updating Fortnite with novelties any time possible.
The latest Fortnite 9.30 update seems to be a significant patch, and it brings dozens of changes to the most popular Battle Royale game of the moment. The patch includes new content, new game modes and events, bug fixes, performance improvements, and more.
Fortnite 9.30 update rolled out – What’s new?
The most significant novelty brought by Fortnite 9.30 is the introduction of the new Chug Splash item. This one will give 20 points of Health/Shield to all the players within the radius the liquid that the Chug Splash releases when thrown. Also, Fortnite 9.30 rolls out Limited Time Mode rotation with Sniper Shootout Duos, Trio, and Solid Gold Squads.
Besides, many tweaks were implemented to weapons, including the removal of the shotgun swap delay, reduction of the Combat Shotgun’s long-range effectiveness, and more. Also, Fortnite 9.30 update vaulted Boom Bow, Dual Pistols, and Dynamite.
As for the bug fixes and the performance improvements that Fortnite 9.30 brought, there are dozens of such enhancements. The most noteworthy of them is the ability to shoot immediately after using the Rift and Go and the spawning of the Supply Drones on the underground in the regions with water.
