WhatsApp is the world’s most popular chatting app with more than one billion monthly active users and there is a good reason behind that. WhatsApp delivers a premium user experience that is bundled with a plethora of awesome features and this is why there is no other chatting app which can surpass WhatsApp in terms of popularity. Another great thing about WhatsApp is the fact that it’s always improving.
The developers who are in charge of WhatsApp are always coming up with new ideas to improve the performances and user experience that the chatting app offers and the way that they do this is by rolling out a constant stream of software updates. In fact, a brand-new one has just arrived and today we are going to present everything there is to know about it.
WhatsApp 2.19.156 Beta
The first thing that we want to note about WhatsApp’s latest update is that it comes in the form of beta. What this means is that even though the update is being rolled outa via official OTA (over the air) channels, the only WhatsApp users who will receive access to it right now are those who are enrolled in the beta program. With that said, let’s see what are the “goodies” that the new update brings.
What’s New?
WhatsApp fans should be pleased to find out that the new update introduces a much-anticipated feature. “Consecutive Voice Messages will now play in sequence, so you don’t have to press play on each message,” explained the developers of WhatsApp in the patch notes.
While the new feature might not be groundbreaking, we have to admit that it’s quite useful. The last thing that we want to note about the new update is that it also comes with a security fix for the “CVE-2019-3568” security breach.
