Both devices have a similar design. The devices’ screen has a tiny teardrop notch in the upper side and a bezel beneath the screen. However, the OnePlus 7 Pro has a pop-up selfie camera in addition. The back parts of both phones are made of Corning Gorilla Glass 5, and dual-lens camera setup.
OnePlus 7 will come in Mirror Grey color also, besides the Midnight Black, and Thunder Purple.

Both OnePlus 6T and 7 have a dual-lens camera setup. While OnePlus 7 comes with a mix of 48MP camera, f/1.7 aperture primary lens, and a 6MP Telephoto lens, the OnePlus 6T has a 16MP camera, f/1.7 aperture lens, and a 20MP camera with f/1.7 aperture lens.
The OnePlus 6T has a lazy camera processing, but the OnePlus 7 comes with improvements in this area as it has the super-resolution feature, and HDR+.

Software
While the OnePlus 6T is powered with the Snapdragon 845, the new OnePlus 7 comes with the most recent Snapdragon 855 chipset. The Snapdragon processor on the OnePlus 7 is combined with Adreno 640 GPU, so if you want to play games such as PUBG on your mobile device, this system will serve HDR graphics quality with no lagging.
Price
OnePlus 6T was initially launched with the price tag of $540. In comparison, the OnePlus 7 has a selling price of $469 which is $71 less than the 6T model, so OnePlus 7 with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space will cost approximately $470.
To conclude the comparison, we would say that the regular OnePlus 7 is not such a significant upgrade over the OnePlus 6T, but if you want to purchase a new OnePlus device, we recommend you to acquire the OnePlus 7 Pro as it has more significant and unique features and specs over both the OnePlus 6T and the regular OnePlus 7.
