This year, Samsung is celebrating ten years of the Galaxy S flagship series, and they’re pretty busy, especially since they’re getting ready to launch the latest smartphones. Obviously, we will see more Samsung 10 variants this year, as the Galaxy M10 and M20 that were just launched in India.
Aside from the Samsung Galaxy flagship smartphones the S10 and S10 Plus, it looks like we will also see a new Galaxy A series which will bring three versions: the Galaxy A10, the Galaxy A30, and the Galaxy A50.
So far, we’ve only heard rumors about the devices, but new leaks posted by MySmartPrice show what we’ll get to see shortly in terms of mid-range smartphones. Check out the image below.
The latest update from the source says that the “dual-SIM variant of the Samsung Galaxy A10 (SM-A105F/DS) has passed through Wi-Fi Alliance’s certification process and seems to feature 2.4GHz Wi-Fi b/g/n and Wi-Fi Direct.” They also added that the Galaxy A10 would also come with Android 9 Pie out of the box.
The three A variants for 2019 will soon be launched in India and then make their way through other countries as well.
Samsung Galaxy A50, A30 and A10
As you can see from the spec sheet above, the Galaxy A50 is the high-end of the three versions, it will come with better cameras (three at the rear and one at the front), a more powerful octa-core Exynos, it will feature two variants – 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage, or 6 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage. The A50 will also include an on-screen fingerprint sensor.
Compared to the A50, the A30 offers a middle ground, coming with a lot less MP for the cameras, a weaker processor, two variants of RAM – 3 GB with 32 GB internal storage, or 4 GB with 64 GB internal storage. Both A50 and A30 will feature the same battery abilities. The A30 comes with a fingerprint scanner on the rear.
Meanwhile, the lowest A device, the Galaxy A10 which is the cheapest one, will come at a slightly smaller scale. It will have almost half of the MP the A50 offers, and only one camera instead of three on the rear. The selfie camera is only 5 MP compared to the A50’s 25 MP or the A30’s 16 MP. The A10 will come with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage, it will have a big battery, but no fast charging, and with a micro-USD instead of the Type-C the other two feature. The A10 will not come with a fingerprint camera, but it will have the Face unlock mechanism and other options.
You will be able to get the A50 or the A30 in Black, Blue, and White, and the A10 in Black or Gold.
