The smartphone industry is flooded by high-end devices every year. In fact, it has become a difficult task to pick a new smartphone to buy in 2019 since companies such as Apple, Samsung and Google keep updating their flagship offerings. On the downside of things, all these high-end smartphones are super expensive and not everyone can afford them. Here is where Motorola comes in and offers Moto G4 as an alternative solution.
Introducing Moto G4
Motorola launched Moto G4 back in 2016. However, this doesn’t mean that the smartphone doesn’t have the “chops” to still be used as a daily carrier to this day. Today we are going to check out some of Moto G4’s highlight features starting with the affordable price so that we can get an idea of what the smartphone has to offer.
Right from the start, the first thing that we want to cover when it comes to Moto G4 is that this smartphone is super affordable. The prices for Moto G4 start at $200 and this makes the smartphone accessible to everyone. Paying $200 for a mid-range smartphone is much better than having to spend more than $1,000 for an iPhone XS or Galaxy S9.
The reason why Moto G4 has managed to stand the test of time and why it’s still a viable choice to this is day is because the smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 617 processor. This processor clocks at 1.5GHz Cortex-A53 and it is fueled by an Adreno 405 graphics processing unit which ships alongside 2GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal storage space. To top it all off, Moto G4’s internal storage space can also be expanded up to 256GB by using a microSD card.
Moto G4 is a great smartphone, but most importantly, Moto G4 is reliable. This smartphone is still a good choice to this day and the affordable $200 price tag is its most important “feature”.
