If there is something that every smartphone fan can agree on when it comes to Apple, then it has to be the fact that the Cupertino based tech giant always focuses on delivering some of the best camera performances available for smartphones. While the latest iPhone XS Max features an incredible rear mounted dual-camera setup, Apple is now ready to take things to the next level and equip iPhone 11 with three cameras!
Triple-Camera Setup
Bloomberg was the first one to report that Apple is planning to launch iPhone 11 with a triple-camera setup in 2019. Not only that, but iPhone 11 will also feature a more powerful 3D camera that will help the smartphone deliver impressive AR (augmented reality) performances.
Worth noting that this isn’t the first time a report has shown that iPhone 11 will ship with a triple-camera setup. However, the fact that Bloomberg is chipping in gives more credibility to this prediction than ever before.
What’s the Use?
Some of you might be asking why are tech companies focused on equipping their flagship smartphones with so many lenses? Well, the answer to that question is simple. Every lens will specialize in different things such as increasing the depth perception of the picture’s subject and as previously mentioned before, one lens will feature powerful 3D technology to offer better AR performances.
Live Photos is Getting a New Update
Another interesting rumor about iPhone 11 is saying that Apple is planning to update Live Photos. All Live Photos that iPhones take currently record only 3 seconds, but this is going to change when iPhone 11 comes out because Live Photos will now record six-second animated clips. This update to Live Photos is a big change to iPhones and it gives iPhone users the ability to pick their favorite frame from the six-second animated Live Photos video.
