OnePlus is a phone-making company that is known for its flagship smartphones, which combine a reasonable pricing with high-end specifications. All users who wish to keep up with what is new and fashionable in the smartphone market without spending a huge amount of money are definitely waiting impatiently for the next device created by the popular Chinese company. Now, thanks to a concept design of the upcoming OnePlus 7, which was posted on YouTube channel TechConfigurations, we can take a closer look at the smartphone that might once again set the trends in the market of budget phones.
Design and display
The upcoming OnePlus 7 is set to have a compact earpiece, metal-glass design with a sliding camera that will be hidden at the top of the device, while at its bottom we will find a USB-C port and the stereo speakers. OnePlus 7 is expected to have no notch and it will feature a 6.5-inch QHD AMOLED Infinity Display and an in-display fingerprint reader.
Camera
The next OnePlus smartphone will have a dual front camera (16MP and 12MP) and a triple rear camera (16MP, 20MP and 16MP) that is able to record 4K videos and features PDAF, Dual OIS and AI Integration for DSLR Quality Images.
Performance
OnePlus 7 will be equipped with a Snapdragon 855 chipset, powered by a 4,000 mAh battery. When it comes to the internal memory, the next gen OnePlus will be available in two versions, 128GB and 512GB. Moreover, users will be able to choose between the versions with 4, 6 and 8GB of RAM.
When should we expect the launch of OnePlus 7?
It is very likely that OnePlus will launch its next gen flagship smartphone, OnePlus 7, sometime in May or June. This prediction was made based on the release dates of the last two devices, OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 6: the former was launched in June 2017, while the latter made its debut in May 2018.
