Incoming is a service outage alert!
Are Rocket League servers down, and is the game not working for you? Please be informed that the service is going through an outage that has got the affected users to route to the micro-blogging site Twitter and other online discussion platforms to highlight their concern.

A quick look at Down detector – a service that gives a realtime overview of outages and other issues – reflects the service is encountering a glitch in some regions. Here’s a live outage map showcasing the same:
Coming to whether there’s an official word on the matter, well, Xbox Live Status page clearly acknowledges the outage. Meaning, the issue is at least a known one, and therefore should be resolved sometime soon.
Rest assured, we’re keeping a track and will update this article with relevant info as and when we catch hold of the further developments. So in case you’re facing the problem discussed here, stay tuned for more updates.

FYI, the Xbox Twitter support is also asking the affected to wait for the issue to be resolved.
