In a recent announcement from the Blizzard community manager Bornakk, World of Warcraft Classic will get three more PvP realms – two for the US and one for Europe (English). So far, all the PvP servers are full, so Blizzard had to add more in each region. After adding Stalagg in the US and Gehenas (English) in Europe, Blizzard announced that three more servers are ready for name reservations.
New PvP Realms in the US: Blaumeux and Skeram
The existing PvP realms all now have either a Full or High population tag. With the potential for extended queues on the Full realms, and 10,000+ queues on Herod, we are opening two new PvP realms on Monday, August 19 at 6:00 p.m. PDT:
- Blaumeux – PvP – Pacific Time Zone
- Skeram – PvP – Eastern Time Zone
We urge players on PvP realms to consider moving to one of these realms. Doing so will help spread the player population as evenly as possible before launch and provide the best play experience for everyone.
New PvP Realm in Europe: Firemaw
The same announcement was published for the European players, warning that Shazzrah queues will be long if players don’t move to other PvP realms, such as Gehenas or the new one – Firemaw:
The existing PvP realms all now have either a Full or High population tag. With the potential for extended queues on the Full realms, and 10,000+ queues on Shazzrah, we are opening another English PvP realm on Tuesday, August 20 at 8:00 p.m. CEST:
- Firemaw – PvP – English
It seems that Blizzard underestimated the number of how many players will come to WoW Classic, but we must agree that it’s great news – full servers mean that there’s a high interest in this content.
While some critics believe that it’s only the nostalgia and the initial hype, we must also remember that thousands of players from vanilla private servers have played for years and are willing to stay on WoW Classic for the years to come.
World of Warcraft Classic will be launched next week on August 26, at 3:00 PM PDT.
