Tesla is like the dictator of the electric vehicle’s world but looks like rivals are rising. With Lucid Motors announcing their Air sedan debut soon, and brands like Nikola with its badger looking towards Cybertruck with lured eyes, Tesla looks like surrounded pretty bad. Adding to this crowd, comes Polesatar’s energetic performance fastback, the Polestar 2.

The Polestar 2 will have its nose against Jaguar I-Pace, Audi E-Tron, and Tesla Model 3. The Polestar 2 specs will be following
- 470 km of WLTP area
- 78 kWh battery
- 62 mph in 4.7 seconds
- dual motor all-wheel drive for the car
- system output: 300 kW (408 hp) and 660 Nm of torque (one 150 kW and 330 Nm electric motor per axle)
- 150 kW fast charging capability based on Compact Modular Architecture (CMA) platform
The production will take place in Luqiao, China – a plant owned by Geely Auto and operated by Volvo Cars.
