iPhone SE 2: Specifications, Features, and Build

The iPhone SE launched a few years ago, and it was an excellent option for iPhone fans that could not get used to the sizes of the iPhone 6. In September 2018, Apple decided to discontinue this line as it has slumping sales. However, there are still many fans who would enjoy having an iPhone SE 2 model. Users consider such a model as compact, easier to use, and if all you need from it is to check messages, make phone calls, and reply to emails, it gets the job done.

The crowd of smaller phones fans was Apple’s target when they launched the iPhone XR, but what the enthusiasts did not expect was the price of $750. Compared to other companies’ flagship models, this was still an expensive one. Due to slumping sales, Apple is trying to give customers what they want, which means that by the end of 2019 or in 2020, the Cupertino company will get the iPhone SE 2 back into stores.

iPhone SE 2: Specifications, Features, and Build

Weibo, the Chinese social media website, was home for one of the earliest rumors about this iPhone model, confirming that the back of the iPhone SE 2 will be made out of glass. We could even take a look at its design thanks to a video they posted.

If we take a look at the recent specifications and trends of the hardware, Apple will have the iPhone SE 2 feature an OLED display as it lasts longer and it is cheaper because the company also has a tremendous bond with Samsung to get as many displays as possible from them. The latest A11 chipset will also power the phone. However, we still need to receive confirmation from Apple. On the other hand, we have no clue if and when iPhone SE 2 would roll out, but rumors say it would come soon.
