Xbox Scarlett Unveils its New xCloud Streaming Service

The Xbox Scarlett is one of the two most anticipated next-generation devices of 2020. Even if the console is going to be Microsoft’s flagship machine of next year, the tech giant has also come with a cheaper alternative.

Microsoft is also set to release its new xCloud streaming service, which will be a direct rival to Google Stadia. Rumors claiming that the company is developing a unique xCloud device that will make it easier to play on TV have been flooding in the last period. Now, a new patent that could transform smartphones into great console alternatives has been spotted.

The new accessories would straightly cover an Xbox One controller design around a smartphone, allowing fans to play much easier.

Having the xCloud already getting rid of the price of Xbox Scarlett hardware, these new devices could open up the gaming market much more. Brad Sams tells fans that this new design would be a lot more compact than carrying a regular Xbox One console. Aside from this, if the price would be affordable, the device could end up being another home-run for the Microsoft Research team.

In the meantime, reports that sony is developing a new PlayStation VR headset for the PS5 are making the rounds of the gaming community. The PlayStation 5 is expected to launch together with the Xbox Scarlett, but it was not expected to feature a new VR device.

Furthermore, players do expect to get the PSVR 2. New reports suggest that the next PlayStation VR device will be wireless and live up to four hours. What is definite is that it will be a sure upgrade on the actual model and could also come with a more affordable price when it first hits the market. Aside from the smaller price, the PSVR 2 will be operating on a much more powerful console, offering some huge advantages.
