Yandex Browser Lite Update Introduces Bug Fix for Full Screen Online Videos

Downloading and installing a powerful mobile browser is the first thing that everyone needs to do whenever they purchase a new smartphone. Even though all Android powered smartphones have Google Chrome pre-installed on them, this doesn’t necessarily mean that Google Chrome is the best to do it. For example, Google Chrome is infamous for using up lots of hardware power which makes the mobile browser quite slow on entry-level smartphones. This is where Yandex Browser Lite comes in and offers an alternative.

Yandex Browser Lite Update

For those who are unfamiliar with Yandex Browser Lite, this is a powerful mobile browser that has been designed for lower-end smartphones. This means that the mobile browser weighs less than 10MB in total and that its software doesn’t take up too much mobile data when loading webpages. The reason why we are talking about Yandex Browser Lite today is because it has just received a new update which sports the version number.

Just like the mobile browser, the new update is a lightweight release and it weighs in at less than 1.1MB. The update requires a minimum of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system in order to run without any issues and we are advising all Yandex Browser Lite users to download it as soon as possible because it comes with a handful of important bug fixes.

Fixed Full Screen Videos

The developers who are in charge of Yandex Browser Lite are always listening to the feedback that their users are saying and after reading complaints about a glitch that occurs when online videos are being played in full screen mode, they decided to fix this issue with this new update. “Videos will now play in full screen as normal, and you can freely switch between keyboard layouts to search for things in different languages”.
