But in case of the Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL smartphones, the hype should not be as stirred up.

Regarding the Google Pixel series, they have never achieved Google’s expectations regarding sales. With each such smartphone that gets released into the series, the situation even gets worse instead of better. That is not a good sign. According to Ruth Porat, the CEO of Google, the Pixel smartphones are bought less and less as the years go by.
When talking about the first-quarter earnings call back in April, the CEO said that it is the fault of the “heavy promotional activity industry-wide given some of the recent pressures in the premium smartphone market.”According to estimates, the Pixel 3 series sold way less than its predecessor, the Pixel 2 series which did not satisfy the company’s expectations either when it came to getting the revenue. Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL would suffer from the exact same problem.
