iOS 13 Beta 3 Is Available With More New Features And Improvements

A couple of days ago, Apple released the third developer beta version of iOS 13, iPadOS 13, macOS Catalina, tvOS 13, and watchOS6. Developers have access to iOS 13 Beta 3 via an over-the-air update. The first beta version of iOS 13 could only be acquired through direct download and an iTunes restore, but with the release of beta 2 in June, the company made configuration profiles available for developers.

The complete version of Apple’s latest iOS version will not be released until fall. However, testers have the chance to try out and offer feedback for the new software version. The iOS 13 beta versions still have performance and stability issues, so Apple still has a lot to work on to bring the software to its final form. Since last year iOS 12 had ten beta versions, iOS 13 might still have a long way to go before reaching a level good enough to be released to the public.

What’s new in iOS 13 beta 3?

  • New popup screen for Secure Recordings feature
  • A different transition for the Home app (when you press long on a tile)
  • New teaser image for Apple Arcade
  • New screen for Apple Arcade
  • New Split View animation in iOS 13 Beta 3
  • More detailed Arcade tab in the App Store
  • New “FaceTime Attention Correction”setting (only available for iPhone XS/XS Max users)
  • “Subscriptions” button moves back to the main page of Apple ID screen in Settings
  • Redesigned action buttons
  • Full-page screenshots can now be taken outside of Safari
  • Archive button in Mail.app is now purple
  • New “Me” tab in the Find My app in iOS 13 Beta 3
  • New Noise Cancelation option in Control Center
  • Voice Memos on Apple Watch now works with iCloud
  • Apple Card privacy Opacity option for iOS markup

iOS 13 Beta 3, as its name says, is still a Beta version, so it might also boast some bugs and cause instability. Accordingly, if you’re not planning to use it for test purposes, and want to use it day by day, refrain from updating to it. In that case, wait until iOS 13 final version comes out this year’s fall.
