As the release date of the upcoming iPhone is approaching, more and more leaks emerge all around the internet. At this point, we have already witnessed many leaks and alleged renders that offered us a lo0k at the forthcoming iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Max, but we are still not entirely sure how the new Apple smartphones will look like and what their specifications will be.
iPhone 11 Max renders leaked thanks to a protection cases manufacturer
Recently, case maker Olixar published case images of iPhone 11 Max renders that showcase the device’s full design, including a new camera bump and a redesigned mute switch.
In the images released by Olixar, we can see the new triple camera arrangement on the rear side in a square camera bump. Earlier leaks also suggested that the new iPhone models will feature a square camera bump, and fans were not so excited about it, many of them finding the design ugly.
It is rumored that the iPhone 11 will have a nex back glass design, made up of a single piece of glass that covers the entire rear side, including the camera bump. However, this is hard to spot in the leaked iPhone 11 Max renders.
iPhone 11 models might sport old Lightning connectivity, not USB-C
Another change that the new iPhone 11 models come with is the mute switch. As can be seen in the images, the switch now moves up and down, instead of left and right, like previous models. This change was most likely made to save space and to account for the new camera arrangement on the back.
When it comes to connectivity, many Apple fans expected the new devices to have a USB-C port, but the images revealed by Olixir confirm the rumors that claimed 2019’s iPhone lineup will feature Lightning connectivity. However, there is a slight chance that the iPhone 11 box will also include a Lightning to USB-C cable, along with a more powerful 18W wall adapter.
