iOS 13 Public Beta Rolled Out – How To Install It

After three weeks of testing, Apple just released the first public beta of iOS 13. The iOS 13 Public Beta release comes as a surprise as the company announced the public beta would not be available until July.

iOS 13 comes with a various number of updates and improvements. Among these improvements, we will find the Dark Mode, the new Reminders app, the performance improvements, the new photos application, the renewed Files app, and so much more.

Is it recommended to install iOS 13 public beta? It is up to you if you want to install the iOS 13 Public Beta, as it comes with a lot of bugs and performance problems, such as audio playback, HomePods, and AirPods. Also, the developers of the third-party apps did not update them to iOS 13, so you will have issues with them running on your iPhone.

If your iPhone isn’t on this list of smartphones that can run iOS 13, it’s not possible to update your iPhone to the new version:

How to install iOS 13 Public Beta?

  1. Go to Apple’s beta Software Program website via Safari.
  2. Click “Sign in” or “Sign up,” if you are not a member, then check the “I agree to the terms and conditions.’
  3. Being sure that you are on the iOS tab of the interface, click the “Enroll Your Devices” link.
  4. Perform a backup using iTunes, as Apple will recommend.
  5. Go to the Install Profile section on the website and click on “Download Profile.”
  6. After allowing the download, go to the Settings app.
  7. You will see a message announcing you that you have a profile ready to be installed, click on it, and install the profile. Your iPhone will restart to complete the profile installation.
  8. Go to Settings, choose General, then Software Update. Now, iOS 13 Public Beta update should be ready to be installed.

Like for all the other iOS versions, once you complete these steps, updates will appear on your iPhone over-the-air (OTA). If you install the iOS 13 Public Beta, be ready to receive updates every two weeks until September when the iOS 13 final version rolls out.
