Apple Music Won’t load in iOS [FIXES]

Apple Music

When it comes to streaming music on iOS, Apple Music is the number one choice of many. However, like other apps, it also has its own issues like when it opens but fails to load your playlists, libraries or any music for that matter.

If you recently found Apple Music not loading in iOS, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can use to resolve it.

How to fix Apple Music won’t load in iOS

You can access all the music from your iCloud on the iCloud Music Library through Apple Music.  What this means is you can’t properly use the music app without enabling this feature, and its pretty easy to do with the steps below:

  • Open Settings on your iOS device
  • Tap Music
  • Enable iCloud Music Library option

Enabling iCloud Music Library should re-establish the connection between your iCloud account and the music app so you can stream again without any issues. However, if this doesn’t work, try the next solution.

Update iTunes and iOS

Apple Music is a service from Apple, which delivers regular updates for it so when it’s not loading, it’s likely that an upcoming update will resolve it. You can get the update by keeping iTunes and your iOS device up to date.

To do this, open Settings and check for a new iOS update. If one is available, download and install it to resolve the loading issue. Otherwise check for an iTunes update as well if the iOS update didn’t work.

Check Apple Music servers

Although it is unlikely that Apple servers would be experiencing an outage, you may not be able to stream any music if they’re down. However, such outage don’t necessarily last that long but you can check the Apple server status.

Reset network settings

To do this:

  • Open Settings>General
  • Tap Reset>Reset Network settings
  • Type in your passcode if prompted and tap Reset to confirm
  • Restart your device and reconnect with a known WiFi source and then try to command Siri again

Reinstall the app

While it isn’t easy to clear Apple Music’s cache, you can try and reinstall the app in order to delete the cached data. After you delete the music app, go to the App Store and download it and then reinstall it to your iOS device.

We hope these solutions have helped you resolve the Apple Music won’t load in iOS problem.
