Epic games have graced us with the announcement that a new weapon will be featured in Fortnite soon. They did this in an in-game alert, better known as the message of the day. The Revolver is the name of the new weapon and will be available for the Fortnite Battle Royale with its next update.
Fortnite Battle Royale’s new weapon would be an upgraded version of the old revolver one
For now, it looks strangely similar to the revolver that appeared a few seasons ago and was subsequently vaulted. This past weapon came to our attention by means of a leak. Data miners ravaged the game files from the last update to find it. This time there is not leak. Only the official teaser announcement from Epic Games. So we do not know what to expect from the weapon as not media files are accessible.
The in-game message states that the weapon is simple, reliable but powerful. Here’s hoping it won’t be a lazy weapon that packs a decent punch. As previously said, we have seen a revolver appear in the game before. That came out with the launch of the Fortnite Battle Royale mode. Sadly, with the passing of time, players kind of stopped using the weapon. So it was no longer available and subsequently shelved.
It is possible that we will see it again in an upgraded version that will actually make players want to use it, but with no clear indication of how rare it will be. But just by going on the statement that it is powerful, we might expect it to be epic gear.
Epic Games released some ‘epic’ weapons in Fortnite Battle Royale
- Combat Shotgun. This weapon was introduced in the ninth season. It is optimal in close combat with its bullet spread, fast fire rate, and large magazine size.
- Proximity Grenade Launcher. This weapon is unique as you can fire at enemies in an arch or bounce your shots off terrain. Making it a truly destructive weapon in capable hands.
- Rocket Launcher. A great weapon against buildings, it is very hard to find, along with its ammo. Reload time is slow and your shots can be dodged by the enemy. But it is so much more satisfying when you land a hit.
