Fortnite Battle Royale Season 10 Would Require High-End Graphics Cards

Fortnite Battle Royale’s Week 7 challenges are now accessible and ready to play, which implies that we are rapidly heading towards the end of Season 9. Even if there are a few weeks left before Fortnite Season 10 formally comes out, if you play Fortnite Battle Royale on PC, you might have to upgrade your apparatus to join the combat next season. With that being said, the new requirements are not quite high, and, as a matter of fact, it is more a subject of applying the current demands.

Fortnite Battle Royale Sys Requirements To Change With Season 10

Epic Games has revealed that Fortnite’s actual minimum demands on PC will change as the Season 10 kicks in. The game giant wrote on its website that the PC version of Fortnite would need a graphics card able of running Microsoft DirectX 11.

While the DirectX 11-proficient graphics card has always been one of the system requirements, they continued supporting the online version for players with older graphics cards so they could keep playing. However, as soon as the Season 10 goes live, Fortnite will not be compatible with the older graphics cards anymore. This enables the game developer to focus their work and testing efforts to further enhance the Fortnite experience for all gamers worldwide.

A DX 11-capable graphics card is not quite a high level, but there are other choices of supported platforms, such as PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and iOS and Android smartphones.

Fortnite Season 10 Might Launch In August

Epic Games has not yet released a definite start date for Season 10, but its predecessor, Season 9 is scheduled to reach its end on August the 1st, as stated on the game’s website.

Fortnite Battle Royale’s latest update, patch 9.30 rolled out in the previous week and came with a new healing item to the title, the Chug Splash. When thrown, the Chug Splash will heal you and other players in the vicinity of its explosion. A later patch fixed several bugs and other problems that have affected the game over the last several days.
