Samsung Galaxy Note 10 – No Physical Buttons and 3.5-mm Headphone Jack, but Revamped Cameras

The internet rumor machine is always hard at work, and an upcoming tech device seems to be a favorite topic. Below you can find a selection of rumors concerning the next entry in the popular Note series – Samsung Galaxy Note 10. As always, take them with a grain of salt.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 would come without physical buttons and a 3.5-mm headphone jack

Several sources anticipate the removal of the physical buttons and the 3.5mm headphone jack from Samsung Galaxy Note 10. The changes would make the device more futuristic, and it is thought that the number of people who use wired headphones isn’t large enough to justify the presence of the aging port.

One of the most reliable sources claims that Samsung plans to pressure-sensitive or capacitive sensors placed were the old buttons used to be placed. A unique material with a bump or a texture could be used to highlight their presence. Apple was the first company which decided to remove the headphone jack, a move which surprised fans when the iPhone 7 was announced in 2016. Several companies decided to follow the trend, including names like Huawei, Motorola and OnePlus.

The removal of the headphone jack may allow Samsung to offer a device with a bigger battery. A thinner design is also a possibility, but that remains to be seen.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 would sport revamped cameras

The Galaxy Note 10 may feature a reworked camera setup with the sensors being positioned in the form of two vertical strips. One will contain the primary, optical zoom, and wide-angle sensors while the other packs the ToF camera, flood illuminator, and flash.

A significant rumor anticipates the inclusion of a high-power 50-watt charger which should increase the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 charging speed considerably. It is likely that more rumors will surface in the future. An official announcement on Galaxy Note 10 could come out in the summer.
