Asus has shocked at Computex 2019 with its brand new ZenBook Pro Duo, an extravagant dual-screen laptop. The tech company has geared the ZenBook Pro Duo with not one but two screens, namely an extendable 4K UHD OLED HDR primary screen, and a touch-susceptible 4K ‘ScreenPad Plus’ underneath. Also, on the right side of the physical keyboard lays an LED supported touchpad which can transform in a Numpad. The device weighs 2.5 kilograms, and its creative dual-screen arrangement is fascinating, creating numerous possibilities for multi-tasking.
Asus’ promo video depicts a ZenBook Pro Duo user shifting and toggling apps between screens, utilizing the ScreenPad as an extendable work-space and using a segment of the ScreenPad as a multi-app launcher. The footage also shows the user operating the ScreenPad as a multi-task window manager and switcher, and using the ScreenPad to write by hand and draw with a stylus.
The ScreenPad can also be used for app tools, content creator collections, streaming applications, and gaming chat. The primary display is a 15.6-inch OLED 4K 16:9 touchscreen, with 3840 x 2160 resolution, a 5mm-thin bezel with 89 percent screen-to-body proportion, a 178° wide-view and 100 percent DCI-P3 color. The ScreenPad has 14-inch, 4K UHD with 3840 x 1100 resolution, and touch display with a wide-view mechanism.
