Honor 20 Pro – Everything You Need to Know

A few days ago, Google announced some bad news regarding the future of Huawei’s Android device, but the company sub-brand, Honor has some news. The Honor 20 and the Honor 20 Pro will be the top of the brand’s range with a Kirin 980 processor, quad rear cameras, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a significant 6.26 inches display, and the front-facing camera. The prices will be around €599 for the Honor 20 Pro and €499 for the Honor 20. The sub-brand has announced that both devices will be out soon.

Technical Specs of Honor 20 Pro

The design of the Honor 20 Pro comes in two colors that will be available at the launching date, such as Phantom Black, and Phantom Blue. On the camera department, the devices come with four cameras on the rear, the primary camera having 48 megapixels, ƒ/1.4 and optical stabilization, it has a 117 degree wide- angle, a 16 megapixels ƒ2.2 camera, and another camera with 8 megapixels, ƒ2.4 telephoto camera.

If it sounds familiar, you will look at the OnePlus 7 Pro, or maybe Samsung Galaxy S10 because they have the same setup on the camera department. On the other hand, the Honor 20 it’s configured differently, without the telephoto camera, but with a 2-megapixel depth-sensing camera, it doesn’t have optical image stabilization on the primary camera.

However, both models have a fourth 2-megapixel ƒ/2.4 macro camera on the rear, and another 32 megapixels ƒ/2.0 selfie camera. The telephoto lens from the back allows you to have an optical zoom of 3x, and a hybrid zoom of 5x, and a digital zoom of 30x. Making a comparison, the Honor 20 Pro has a good camera, but the Pixel 3A’s is better. Regarding the display, the Honor 20 Pro has 6.26 inches 2340×1080 LCD screen, a little hole-punch cutout on the left for the selfie camera, with a size of 4.5 mm.

Also, the Honor 20 Pro comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor; it is accessible and very quick at picking the fingerprint. The power of the Honor 20 Pro stands in the Kirin 980 processor, with 8GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, and the Honor 20 has 6GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Both devices run on the Magic UI and a 4.000 mAh battery for the Pro version, or 3.750 mAh for the simple version.

Conclusions

To sum up, the Honor 20 Pro will be available soon, somewhere between June and July, coming alongside the Honor 20, but we don’t have an official announcement regarding the countries where the two phones will be launched.
