Huawei, the Chinese tech company, has officially announced their new Mate 20X 5G at an event which took place in London. The new Mate 20X 5G is a reinvigorating model of its predecessor, the regional exclusive Huawei Mate 20X. The revealed smartphone maintains most of the enormous footmark and power that has been released last year in October together with the splendid Huawei Mate 20 Pro. The only significant difference to clients is the incorporation of the 5G connectivity.
Even if the Chinese tech company is in a tight spot with the U.S. government, this issue is not blocking them in the worldwide markets. The launch of the Huawei Mate 20X 5G is the first commercially available 5G phone from the Chinese company.
The Mate 20X 5G is powered by the Balong 5,000 5G chipset and will be among the first smartphones ready for use in the United Kingdom with the fast-paced connectivity capacity. Even so, 5G is still in its early stages of implementation worldwide, which means that one won’t be able at the moment to experience the actual speeds peaked by the 5G feature.
Huawei Mate 20X 5G Has Been Officially Unveiled
The remaining details and features within the smartphone are approximately the same as the regular Mate 20X. What it means is that the spectacular Kirin 980 chipset powers the phone, has 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of expandable storage space through the NM cards which go up to 156GB storage volume. The Mali-G76MP10 GPU provides the graphics of the device.
The device has suffered, however, a few changes. The 5,000mAh battery has been replaced with a 4,200mAh. Also, there is no headphone port; thus, one can only use wireless headsets. This change is probably because of a decreased internal footmark as a result of the added 5G hardware.
The Huawei Mate 20X can be purchased starting with June, from the O2, EE, Three, and Vodaphone markets. The price tag will start at $1,270 for an unlocked device.
