Alleged Official Google Pixel 3a Series Renders Leaked Online

Rumblings about Google Pixel 3a and 3a XL have been floating around since late 2018. Rumors certainly heated up when Google stopped selling the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL on the official Google Store on April 1. Even more recently, alleged official renders of the long-rumored gadgets have surfaced, even though an official announcement has yet to be done.

Google Pixel 3a series to be revealed at Google I/O, in May

There are some speculations that the Google Pixel 3a series will finally be announced at the annual Google I/O developer conference, on May 7th. “Something big is coming to the Pixel universe on May 7,” according to a teaser from The Google Store.

How much will they cost?

When it comes to price range, we can only guess by reflecting on the current price of the Pixel 3, that retails from €859 to €959 (for the Pixel 3 XL). According to a previous rumor, the cheaper models will cost approximately half the amount of the full versions.

Rumors say that the 3a and 3a XL will both include a headphone jack, lack notches and will launch with Android 9 Pie. The 3a will feature a 5.6-inch 2,220 x 1,080-pixel resolution and the 3a XL a 6-inch a 2,160 x 1,080 pixel resolution.It is also thought that the 3a XL will feature a Snapdragon 710 or a Snapdragon 670, while the 3a will use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 670 chip.

The devices are expected to come in the traditional black color and white color of the main Google Pixel 3 lineup. We will find more details as we’re getting closer to the Google I/O conference in May. We’ll keep you posted with everything new on Google Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL.
