Will GTA 6 Be Exclusive to PS5?

Rumors are saying that Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6) will release next year on the holiday season. The leak has started from a European developer that declared even the fact that PlayStation 5 users will be the first ones that will put their hands on the game. The same source is reporting that Sony is offering a lot of money to Take-Two Interactive for one month period for the game to be exclusive on PS5. If the rumors are true and Sony closes this deal, Microsoft’s Xbox Anaconda users will have to wait a little longer for the game.

However, in all this time, all kind of rumors have appeared, and the deal between Sony and Take-Two Interactive was also discussed a lot. The same leak says that GTA 6 will take place in two cities: Miami and New York City. Closing a deal with Sony for an exclusive PlayStation game release could be dangerous for Take-Two Interactive. This deal could bring repercussion and negative feedback from Rockstar and Xbox fans. Also, the rumor doesn’t mention if GTA6 will come to PC alongside next Xbox launching date. But like the GTA5 version, it will come after some months on PC.

Moreover, this rumor is opposite to the previous that we’ve heard. The last time when a rumor has been released about GTA 6 was that the date launch would be in 2022, in two locations: South America and Vice City. This one is stating that the game will be released in 2020. It’s a little odd to think that Rockstar will concentrate on GTA 6 for a near launching when Red Dead Redemption 2 was just released.

Summing up, this leak was the same that last year had started to launch rumors about some games, date launch, and console release. The leaker even made a list with games that will be launched on PlayStation 5, titles like Gran Turismo 7, PUBG remastered, Last of Us 2 remastered, and Ghost of Tsushima remastered. Of course, a rumor is just a rumor until official declaration from Rockstar about GTA 6 and its release date.
