Call of Duty is one of the most popular game franchises in the world and there is no doubt about that. Every Call of Duty game that was released raised the standards for FPS (first-person-shooter) titles and the same can be said about the latest Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. However, the developers who are in charge of Call of Duty have decided to switch their focus from PC and console over to mobile gaming.
The creators of Fortnite and PUBG are making millions of dollars in profits every month thanks to the mobile versions of their games. Seeing this, Activision (developer of CoD) has decided that time has come for Call of Duty to arrive on Android and iOS devices as well. With that said, Activision has recently launched the early version of Call of Duty: Mobile which has been recently updated.
Call of Duty: Mobile 1.0.0 Update
The game is still in the early stages and the new update changes Call of Duty: Mobile’s version number to 1.0.0. This is a major update and it weighs in at 1.1GB. Therefore, we are advising all mobile users who want to give Call of Duty: Mobile a try to make sure to download it over Wi-Fi and not mobile data.
What’s New?
Activision announced in the patch notes for Call of Duty: Mobile that since the game is still in the early stages, the 1.0.0 update comes with lots of new bug fixes. Not only that, but the update is also introducing new content to the game that is going to make the gameplay more exciting.
The update is available for all Android smartphone users. However, we don’t know if playing Call of Duty: Mobile is the best decision right now. As previously mentioned, the game is in the early stages and therefore, Activision still needs to deal with lots of game-breaking bugs before Call of Duty: Mobile reaches the final version.
