Those people from the CD Projekt RED studio have recently announced that they are getting a merch store. It is still in works, but they have managed to show some content from their games as products.
The products will be based on Cyberpunk 2077 and Witcher
Details are yet to come. But the studio has under its belt products that are themed after Cyberpunk 2077 and Witcher. We are talking about Witcher 1, 2, and 3, and each one of them has a unique iteration of the Witcher Geralt. There is a Gwent IP, too, which comes with artwork that had its inspiration in the epic trilogy.
The studio said that they waited for April Fools’ Day to be over so they could give us the great news. They said on Twitter that they are opening the store in a few weeks.
The feedback from users was amazing
As per the president of the studio, whose name is Adam Kiciński, the online audience of Cyberpunk 2077 is hyped about this decision. The feedback to previews and online marketing has brought great interest to the team in Warsaw. They are working really hard to bring us the game. The marketing move was very smart – they decide to spread the studio brand before E3 this year.
Why will E3 2019 be crucial for CD Projekt Red and Cyberpunk 2077?
The president of the studio has already stated that E3 2019 will be the most important event ever, which, for them, would mean the Cyberpunk 2077 showcase.
Among the previews, we might see the AAA project that the studio has worked on. They are yet to give the project a name, but we already are excited about it. Cyberpunk 2077 will come out soon, but we don’t know yet when that will precisely happen. CD Projekt Red will present the title at E3 2019, so we’ll soon find out more about the game.
