While the Google Play Store might the place where all Android users go to whenever they want to download a new app or game, this doesn’t necessarily mean that the Google Play Store is their only option. Therefore, today we are going to present the top three Google Play Store alternatives which offer premium user experiences and thousands of cool apps and games.
#1 F-Droid
The first Google Play Store alternative that we want to present is called F-Droid. The reason why we picked F-Droid to be the first is that this platform offers a wide variety of FOSS (free and open source software) applications that can be installed on the Android operating system. In addition, the platform is described as “easy to browse, install, and keep track of updates on your device” by the developers.
#2 Amazon App Store
Some of you who own Amazon Kindle tablets might have heard about the Amazon App Store before. This platform provides Amazon Kindle users with access to a plethora of apps, but what many people don’t know about it is that the apps which are featured on this platform can also be downloaded and installed on Android-powered devices. Furthermore, the Amazon App Store offers a total of 340,000 apps which is quite impressive.
#3 Samsung GALAXY Apps
Even though Samsung’s high-end smartphones are running on Google’s Android operating system, Samsung is planning to replace it with its own operating system called Tizen in the upcoming future. With that said, it should come as no surprise that Samsung has its own app store called Samsung GALAXY Apps and just like you can probably tell by now, all the apps and games that are featured on the Samsung GALAXY Apps are available to Android-powered devices as well.
