Pixel 3a Leaked on Google Play Store Shows Specs and Features

A week ago, the Nest Hub Max got leaked on the Google store, and just a few hours ago we saw the Pixel 3a appear on both the online store and the Google Play Developer Console’s device catalog. We say “leaked” because the Pixel 3a line was only briefly showed online and then it was removed.

However, we managed to grab some info from GSM Arena and some photos. Let’s check them out below.

Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL Specs and Features

The mid-range smartphones also got leaked with some cases made from fabric. The Pixel 3a goes by the name of Sargo, and the Pixel 3a XL’s codename is “Bonito.”

In the Google Play Developer Console catalog, we saw the following specs that included info about RAM and screen resolution.

Sargo and Bonito will both come with 4 GB of RAM. The difference between them is the screen resolution – Sargo will come with 1080 x 2220 px and 440 ppi, while Bonito will have 1080 x 2160 px and 440 ppi. Looking at the resolution and pixel density, we can assume that Sargo is the smaller smartphone, coming with a 5.6-inch display, while Bonito will have a 6-inch display.

As for when the mid-range Pixel line will be revealed, we only know that the smartphones will be a “midyear experience.” Hiroshi Lockheimer, the company Senior VP did admit that he took some photos with an “unreleased phone” last month, so they should be ready to be revealed. According to GSM ARENA, “these phones are also listed with system features on Play Console which hint at mid-2019 launch.”

We might see the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL at the I/O conference on May 7th, which means that they might be launched well ahead of the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL. We’ll see more about the mid-range phones if Google keeps on leaking more about them before the official announcement.
