If you own a Galaxy S10e, S10 or S10 Plus and you don’t have notification lights, you might want to turn them on. IT is very simple to do it, and we can show you how. There are a couple of differences between the devices.
For instance, the S10 Plus comes with a dual camera cut out, while the Galaxy S10e and the S10 have single camera cutout. However, the steps you need to follow are the same ones.
Find out how to enable notification lights on Samsung Galaxy S10 smartphones
You will need to download a third party app to activate these notifications. The app is called Always On Edge – Edge Lighting App. The applications turn on LED notifications for all smartphones that have some sort of notch. The notifications activate the lights around the edges of the notch or the cutout. The good news is that this app doesn’t consume too much of your battery and its consumption is somewhere around 2-7%.
The first step is obviously downloading the Always On Edge – Edge Lighting App from the Google Play Store. Once you have it installed, you can open it. Now it’s time to enable all the required permissions. Make sure that you click all the boxes that show up.
Now you need to scroll down and choose the option that says “around notch only.” Now you can scroll a bit more and find seven different options for animations. You can choose between sparkles, tides, crash, follow, flicker and worm. There is also a stable version that allows you to save more power, and it won’t use your CPU at all.
The app is available for free, and it can also be used on other handsets that come with a notch, such as the Asus Zenfone 5Z.
