Google Pixel 3 lineup came out in November 2018. However, we’re already looking forward to Google Pixel 4 series. Today, we’ll show you some of the latest and most reliable Google Pixel 4 rumors, news, and more.
Improved dual-SIM capabilities in Google Pixel 4
If you buy the Pixel 4, you might be able to switch between two functioning phone lines is this feature will be included. Compared to the previous Pixel 3 and Pixel 2 including their larger counterparts the Pixel 3 XL and the Pixel 2 XL. Those phones have an eSIM and a standard SIM card slot. Even though on one device you would have two numbers, you could only text, talk or use data on one line and the other would remain inactive. In other words, you could use one SIM at a time.
Now, you might be able to activate two SIMs in Pixel 4. However, you can’t make a call from those SIMs at the same time or text. That is similar to the operation method the other Android devices use or the new iPhones.
Android Q to be included in Google Pixel 4 smartphones
As it happened in the past with other Pixel phones, the latest OS from Android will be used by Pixel 4 for the first time. Because the OS that Google developed is named alphabetically, we called the next one Android Q because we do not know its official name yet. Even though it has not been launched yet, we know that it will include new permissions features, a system-wide dark mode, enhanced security, and improved facial recognition.
Google Pixel 4 release date
No rumor that goes around the internet right now has suggested that Google will launch the next Pixel phone in October, but the first such phone did. With that being said, we might get the next Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL smartphones in about seven months, in October or November 2019.
