This is a new update and it arrived yesterday (March 6th). We advise all WhatsApp users to download it as soon as possible because the new update introduces a handful of bug fixes and a new way for users to start group voice and video calls with their friends and family members.

“It’s now easier to start group voice and video calls. Just tap on the call button in groups or select “New Group call” when starting a new call in the calls tab. Group calls support up to four participants,” said the app’s developers in the update patch notes.
